Student: Shipping and Receiving Assistant

The Property Office at Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is looking to hire a detailed and proactive student to assist with shipping and receiving functions of the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

Assists with shipping and receiving-this includes the functions of shipping and receiving, material handling and packaging, inventory management, and record keeping

Processes, delivers, and picks up incoming and outgoing mail

Maintains mail distribution boxes throughout SDL's campus

Data entry

Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Must be a Utah State University student

Must have at least one year of school remaining

Must be able to work 15-20 hours per week during semesters and up to 40 hours per week during summer

Must have a strong work ethic, dedication, and sense of ownership in their job, and be self-directed/motivated

Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other productivity tools

Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license

Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. safely
