As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Readiness in Irving, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and incidents, document activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.

Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.

Document daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns through accurate reports and communication with site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
