As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol Response in Syracuse, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Pay Rate: $23.44 / Hour

Day Time

Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Wed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.

Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures for visitors, staff, patients, and deliveries in accordance with location policies.

Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

Possess a New York State Security Guard License.

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
