Hotel Maintenance

Days Inn-Rawlins • Rawlins, WY • 2d ago

Respond to the needs of the hotel guest relating to the maintenance and condition of the hotel, property and grounds.

Inspect hotel regularly to endure it meets safety standards.

Complete general repairs and upkeep of operational equipment.

Oversee hotel building systems such as refrigeration, HVAC, electrical and plumbing.

Ensure the safety and attractiveness of all hotel areas.

Perform grounds work and landscaping as needed.

Arrange for preventative and routine maintenance of hotel rooms, lobby and facilities

Organize repair projects in a manner that will not disturb guest.

Find ways to reduces hotels operating cost and conserve energy.

Maintain expenses and activity logs.

Maintain and order supplies as needed.

Approach all encounters with guest as well as employees in a professional and personalized manner throughout all areas of the hotel.

Maintain a regular attendance and timeliness in compliance with hotel standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.

Maintain a professional image and positive attitude at all times.

Actively participate in daily briefings and meetings.

Understand and execute hotel emergency procedures if an incident should occur.

Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and services.
