Required Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in operations, maintenance, or construction of power generation, transmission, or distribution equipment or equivalent education/experience or

Associate's Degree and 4 years of experience in operations, maintenance, or construction of power generation, transmission, or distribution equipment or equivalent education/experience or

High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of experience in operations, maintenance, or construction of power generation, transmission, or distribution equipment.

Relevant Work Experience

Work experience in the operation, maintenance, or construction of power generation, transmission, or distribution equipment, required.

Be detail oriented, able to work under pressure and handle multiple concurrent assignments, required.

Strong oral and written communications skills, good presentation skills and ability to effectively interact with both internal and external customers, support staff, and various levels of management and union, required.

Must be computer literate and be able to apply practical applications in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, required.

Familiarity with scheduling and work management systems, such as Maximo, DataSplice, Engage, and Primavera P6, preferred.

Supervisory experience, preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

Driver's License Required

Other: Respirator Fit Test 1 Year Required

Physical Demands

Ability to carry tools and materials when climbing ladders and scaffolds, and entering confined spaces

Work in, under, and on top of all @types of company vehicles and/or equipment

Ability to work on elevated platforms, scaffolds, catwalks, roofs, and/or other equipment

Ability to work in inclement weather and adverse conditions (i.e., excessive heat, cold, noise, confined spaces)

Ability to work with, and in, the vicinity of high voltage and/or other high-energy systems

Stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairs for the duration of the workday

Stand, walk, lift, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, and/or reach for the duration of the workday

Ability to use hand tools and operate heavy machinery, i.e. jackhammers

Ability to travel to company locations to work on storm restoration and heat contingencies

Use hand-eye coordination to adjust controls on equipment

Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), i.e. fire-retardant clothing and safety harnesses

Work rotating shifts, including nights, midnights, weekends, and holidays

Use personal vehicle(s), and be able to transport, store, and secure company laptops and other job-related equipment in vehicle. Acknowledge that reimbursement for use of personal vehicle is available through the company mileage procedure

Additional Physical Demands

The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
