Hours:6:00am-2:30pm\ \ QPS Employment Group is hiring for a Core Production role for a company in Richmond, IL. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 1st shift.\ \ Core Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\

Cut, stack, and assemble core steel laminations according to

production drawings and specifications\

Operate core cutting machines, presses, stackers, and related

fabrication equipment\

Install clamps, braces, insulation materials, and hardware required

for core assembly\

Measure, square, and verify core dimensions to ensure accuracy and

consistency\

Assist with core tilting, moving, and positioning using cranes or

other lifting equipment\

Perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify alignment,

tightness, and quality\

Record production data and maintain documentation for each core

assembly\

Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards at

all times\

Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with routine

equipment upkeep\

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet daily build

schedules\ \ Core Production Requirements:\

High school diploma or equivalent\

Manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or metal fabrication experience

preferred\

Ability to read and understand blueprints, measurements, and work

instructions\

Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic shop equipment\

Experience using overhead cranes or hoists is a plus\

Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude\

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as

bending, standing, and reaching\

Production and fabrication environment with exposure to metal

materials, machinery, and noise\

PPE and adherence to all safety protocols required
