Job Summary

Imperial Electric Elevator, A Nidec Company, is a custom manufacturer of special application AC and DC motor systems for the elevator/escalator industry. Job Description

The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to our clients and ensuring that our products are running efficiently. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of technology and company products.Responsibilities:Install, configure, and troubleshoot our products on-site or in office

Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in-personPerform regular maintenance and upgrades on our productsCollaborate with sales and engineering teams to identify and resolve customer issuesCreate and maintain technical documentation and service manualsRequirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical, electrical or mechanical fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently

Extensive travel (including international travel) and that doing machine assemblies in the field is also required

Seasoned technical contributor; works under limited supervision

Works independently on a wide range of moderately complex projects and may be responsible for entire projects or processes within team
