The Role About the RoleThe AWS Resale, PPA & FinOps Growth Specialist will work with AWS sellers to identify accounts consuming AWS today that are not fully leveraging resale, private pricing, commitment strategy, or FinOps-based cloud financial management.The seller will lead commercial discovery, qualify PPA potential, build customer business cases, and align stakeholders around cloud value, cost visibility, financial accountability, and consumption governance.The role requires strong cloud commercial acumen, executive presence, financial fluency, and the ability to sell across procurement, finance, cloud operations, engineering, and executive stakeholders.Primary MissionThe mission of this role is to convert existing AWS consumption into higher-value commercial relationships through: AWS resale adoption PPA opportunity identification and execution FinOps assessment and advisory services Cloud cost governance and optimization programs Commitment planning and rate optimization Executive-level cloud value conversations * Strong alignment with AWS sellers and internal stakeholdersThis role should create growth by targeting accounts where AWS usage already exists but where customers may lack the right commercial structure, financial accountability model, optimization discipline, or executive visibility into cloud value.What You'll DoPartner closely with AWS sellers to identify underpenetrated accounts that already consume AWS.Build and manage a focused pipeline of AWS resale, PPA, and FinOps opportunities.Qualify accounts for PPA potential based on current consumption, expected growth, customer priorities, commercial timing, and commitment readiness.Lead discovery with finance, procurement, engineering, cloud operations, product, and executive stakeholders.Position AWS resale as a strategic commercial model, not simply a procurement pass-through.Develop customer-specific business cases for resale, PPA, and FinOps adoption.Sell FinOps solutions based on the FinOps Foundation operating model, which emphasizes business value, timely data-driven decisions, financial accountability, and collaboration between engineering, finance, and business teams.Use FinOps Foundation principles in customer conversations, including team collaboration, business-value-driven technology decisions, ownership of technology usage, accessible and accurate data, central enablement, and use of cloud's variable cost model.Partner with internal FinOps, finance, operations, delivery, and vendor teams to shape profitable, risk-aware customer proposals.Drive clean internal deal coordination, including pricing, margin review, approval paths, and proposal execution.Maintain strong CRM hygiene, opportunity discipline, forecast accuracy, and account-level documentation.Create executive-facing messaging that connects cloud consumption, rate optimization, forecasting, governance, and business outcomes.Responsibilities Include:Core ResponsibilitiesAWS Seller AlignmentBuild strong working relationships with AWS sellers.Identify shared target accounts with existing AWS consumption and low PPA or resale penetration.Coordinate account pursuit strategies with AWS sellers and internal stakeholders.Ensure the selling motion is collaborative, clear, and not duplicative.PPA Pipeline DevelopmentIdentify accounts with meaningful AWS consumption that may be candidates for private pricing agreements.Lead customer conversations around commitment strategy, growth assumptions, commercial structure, risk, and business valu
