As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.01 / Hour

Sat06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Sun06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.

Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery activity in accordance with site policies and controlled-area requirements.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.

Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain logs for patrol activities, incidents, visitor activity, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

At least two years of security-related experience is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
