As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a mission-focused environment. Pay Rate: $24.69 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned office areas, building access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.

Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and shift activity documentation.

Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and first responders while helping to support a controlled and orderly work environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, or military experience.

Possess an armed guard card or license.

Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
