JOB DESCRIPTION: The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations related to the storage, inventory management, and distribution of materials and supplies used in weatherization projects. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that ERC's crews have access to the necessary resources to carry out weatherization services efficiently and effectively.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records for weatherization materials, tools, and supplies. Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy, monitor stock levels, and reorder materials as needed to prevent shortages. Act as the primary material procurement specialist for ERC energy programs.

Warehouse Operations: Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials, ensuring proper documentation and maintaining an efficient, safe warehouse layout to optimize workflow.

Quality Control: Inspects incoming materials for quality and compliance with specifications. Must implement quality control measures to ensure that materials meet program standards.

Equipment Management: Oversee warehouse equipment use, schedule maintenance, and collaborate with the Regional Trainer to ensure field staff are trained on equipment use and safety.

Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate with shipping carriers and logistics partners for shipments, prepare shipping documentation, labels, and manifests, and receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries.

Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to address quality issues and returns.

Budget & Cost Control: Monitor warehouse expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and collaborate with the Regional Director to develop and manage the warehouse budget while optimizing operations to reduce waste and improve efficiency.

Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards, maintain warehouse documentation and records, and prepare reports on activities, inventory levels, and performance metrics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience with warehouse management, inventory controls, or a similar role. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening. Candidates will be subject to a criminal background check and motor vehicle report. (See job-specific qualifications below):

Ability to muti-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and expertise in supply chain networking.

Strong leadership and supervisory skills with ability to motivate and develop a warehouse team.

Valid Colorado Driver's License or the ability to obtain one within 2 weeks and a driving record that meets insurance liability standards.

Familiarity with safety regulations and OSHA requirements.

Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage inventory records, track stock levels, ensure proper storage, and conduct audits and shipment verifications to prevent discrepancies.

Working knowledge of Federal and state policy manuals and field manuals related to weatherization and furnace programs and procurement.

Proficiency in warehouse management software and inventory tracking software.

PREFERRED SKILLS: (Licensing/Certification)

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

OSHA 10/30 certified is preferred with warehouse inventory management experience

Forklift operation experience & certification a plus

REPORTS TO: Reports directly to Regional Site Director.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Supervises Inventory Specialist (regional site specific)

TRAVEL: Travel IS required to/from service region job sites throughout Colorado in company vehicles and for other work-related job-functions as needed.

WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work environment is dual-natured: Partly standard office environment with the use of a computer for data entry and retrieval. This position also requires the ability to lift and move heavy objects (35lbs.+), stand for extended periods, and work in warehouse conditions that may include exposure to varying temperatures.
