Description We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to support daily reception and administrative operations for a Contract position in Washington, District of Columbia. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, helping create a welcoming and well-organized office environment. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and comfortable managing front desk activity while handling routine administrative tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Welcome visitors, residents, and vendors in a courteous and attentive manner while maintaining an orderly front desk presence.

Manage incoming phone calls through a multi-line system, direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts, and provide clear, timely information.

Accept deliveries and packages, log received items as needed, and coordinate distribution to the appropriate recipients.

Support day-to-day administrative activities such as monitoring the reception area, handling basic correspondence, and assisting with office coordination.

Maintain visitor records and front desk documentation with attention to accuracy and confidentiality.

Respond promptly to general questions and provide concierge-style assistance to help ensure a positive experience for guests and callers. Requirements - Previous experience in a front desk, receptionist, concierge, or administrative support role.

Ability to manage a multi-line phone system and handle a steady volume of inbound calls effectively.

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a detail-oriented and welcoming demeanor.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Clear verbal communication skills and sound judgment when directing inquiries or assisting visitors.
