Job Description
The Assembler supports the manufacturing and assembly of industrial power systems by wiring power systems and assembling electrical components according to engineering specifications. This role requires reading and interpreting schematics and engineering drawings, using a variety of hand and power tools, and working on large units that can reach up to eight feet in height in a non-climate-controlled production environment.
Shifts:
1st Shift: Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (will train on 1st shift)
Pay:
$17 - $19/hr (DOE and shift)

Responsibilities
Assemble industrial power systems and related electrical components according to schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, process sheets, and schematic drawings to perform accurate assembly and wiring tasks.
Wire electrical components and power systems following established procedures and safety standards.
Use hand and power tools such as power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measures to complete assembly work.
Measure and cut materials accurately using a tape measure and other basic measuring tools.
Work at ground level and on ladders to assemble units that may reach up to eight feet in height.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety guidelines on the production floor.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and quality standards.
Adapt to various assembly tasks as needed, including mechanical and electrical work, to support overall production requirements.
Essential Skills
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, process sheets, and schematic drawings.
Proficiency in wiring electrical components and power systems.
Experience using hand and power tools, including drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measures.
Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
High school diploma or GED.
Capability to stand for the entire shift and work on ladders when required.
Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing is a plus.
Experience in construction, handyman work, HVAC, automotive, or similar hands-on industries is beneficial.
Exposure to wiring, soldering, electrical assembly, maintenance, installation, or other electrical work is an advantage.
Experience reading blueprints, schematics, or wiring diagrams in previous roles is preferred.
Interest in learning additional skills such as mechanical assembly, welding, CNC machinery, electrical testing, and paint line operations.

Work Environment
The role is based in a large, open-bay production facility with multiple work stations and bays. The production floor is not climate controlled, although industrial-sized ceiling fans help keep air circulating. The environment includes forklifts and various manufacturing machinery, and employees use safety shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs as needed. The position requires standing for the entire shift and occasionally working on ladders to assemble tall units. The standard shift runs from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with additional hours from 6:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
