JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Madison Concourse Hotel & Governor\'s Club is seeking a Housekeeping Team Leader to support the daily operations of our Housekeeping department while inspiring a team committed to exceptional cleanliness and service. Whether you\'re an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor or a Housekeeping Inspector, Lead Room Attendant, or hospitality professional ready to step into your first supervisory role, we\'d love to hear from you. Starting Wage: \$22.00-\$24.00/hour, depending on experience Typical Schedule: 9:00 a.m.5:00 p.m. (Sunday 10:00 a.m.6:00 p.m.) with weekends and schedule flexibility based on hotel occupancy. What You\'ll Do -Lead and support the housekeeping team throughout the day -Assist with training, coaching, scheduling, and performance development -Conduct training and coaching sessions on chemical usage, departmental policies, and the various components of the Hay Adams Standards of Excellence -Ensure guest rooms and public areas meet hotel cleanliness standards -Partner with the Front Office to prioritize room availability and guest needs -Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally -Assist with payroll, inventory, and departmental organization -Help oversee daily operations in the absence of the Director of Housekeeping or the Assistant Housekeeping Manager Why Join Us? Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary. Plan and prepare employee work schedules. Establish and implement operational standards and procedures for the departments supervised. Inventory stock to ensure that supplies and equipment are available in adequate amounts. Issue supplies and equipment to workers. Check and maintain equipment to ensure that it is in working order. Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that services are provided in an efficient and timely manner. Investigate complaints about service and equipment, and take corrective action. Confer with staff to resolve performance and personnel problems, and to discuss company policies. ** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: What We\'re Looking For -Previous housekeeping experience required; hotel experience strongly preferred -Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred -Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills -Ability to coach, motivate, and support team members -Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities -Ability to work on your feet throughout the shift, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, and stretching -Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as business demands -Bilingual skills are a plus ** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: http://concoursehotel.com/careers
