Job Title: Human Resources SpecialistJob Description

The HR & TA Specialist supports the full employee lifecycle, combining recruiting with HR operations to deliver an excellent candidate and employee experience. This role thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manages both hourly and salaried hiring.

Responsibilities

Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly, salaried, seasonal, and professional roles.

Partner with managers to define needs, source candidates, and coordinate interviews.

Screen, interview, and extend offers while ensuring clear communication throughout the process.

Manage relationships with staffing agencies for temporary workforce needs.

Oversee onboarding, employee status changes, records, and policy support.

Ensure adherence to employment laws, maintain HR documentation, and prepare reports/dashboards.

Support performance management, recognition programs, and exit interviews.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

3-5 years HR and/or recruiting experience, ideally in manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office; HRIS/ATS experience preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Would possibly consider someone with Distribution Center experience, but prefers Manufacturing.

Work Environment

This role operates onsite, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm, within a dynamic manufacturing setting.

This is a Permanent position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $74880.00 - $83200.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
