Basic Job Functions:

The Production Supervisors responsibilities include, but are not limited to, taking care of our customers by executing the divisions safety, quality, cost, productivity and profitability objectives. The responsibilities of the Production Supervisor include but are not limited to: being a positive member of the leadership team at NTS Crawfordsville, being an active participant developing teammates within our culture as well as overseeing training. This position is also responsible for communicating information across departments and teammates as it relates to safety, quality and production.

This position reports to the NTSIN Operations Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED

Must have at least 2 years Nucor leadership experience

Effective communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills

Commitment to safety, actively involved in their divisions safety initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a Greenfield environment

Experience working in Operations

Experience writing/reviewing procedures and training manuals

Computer knowledge/skills
