Job Purpose and Impact

The Warehouse Coordinator will leverage the distribution plan to ensure warehouse staffing and truck capacities support all in-bound and out-bound shipments with the third-party logistics (3PL) partner. In this role, you will drive improvement with 3PL to ensure superior customer service to Cargill Cocoa and Chocolate customers.

Key Accountabilities

Perform or resolve data entry and issues using spreadsheets and databases based on sales orders and contracts, analyse data, collect and translate implications and present findings to senior team members.

Executes all processes for inventory control at third party warehouses.

Manage customer complaints and identify root cause and appropriate corrective action

Develop strong partnerships with 3PL warehouse team. Champion continuous improvement and accountability between manufacturing plants, shuttle carrier and 3PL partners. Use significant knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry to make recommendations to establish good customer relations.

Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

One year of experience in supply and inventory planning.

Position is based in Wayzata, MN, Wichita, KS, Milwaukee, WI, St Clair, MI

Relocation assistance is not provided for this role

The expected salary for this position is $48 000 - $81 000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
