What You'll Do
As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will:
Provide individualized pediatric physical therapy in the home setting
Evaluate children and develop individualized care plans
Implement treatment plans based on each child's needs, goals, and family priorities
Address mobility, strength, balance, coordination, gross motor development, and functional independence
Recommend therapeutic activities, strategies, and equipment when appropriate
Monitor progress and adjust care plans to support meaningful outcomes
Educate and empower parents and caregivers to maximize carryover between visits
Collaborate with caregivers, ATPs, orthotists, physicians, and other members of the care team
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
Build meaningful relationships with children and families throughout their care journey
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Current Texas Physical Therapist license
New graduates may be considered based on mentorship and support availability
Pediatric or home health experience is preferred but not required
Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain it
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to travel within an assigned service area
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Dependable, compassionate, and family-centered approach to care
