Job Description
This first-shift Warehouse Worker role runs from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and focuses on safely handling materials, supporting production operations, and assisting with shipping and receiving activities. You will operate equipment such as pallet jacks and balers, load and unload products, and help prepare outbound shipments and receive inbound materials while consistently following instructions and working both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Bale materials using appropriate equipment and ensure they are prepared for storage or shipment according to established procedures.
Transport materials throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks and, where applicable, forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
Load and unload products from trucks, ensuring accurate placement and secure handling of items weighing up to 40-50 pounds.
Assist production operations as a warehouse associate, supporting measuring, material handling, and other tasks as needed.
Help prepare outbound shipments, including staging, organizing, and verifying materials before loading.
Support receiving of inbound products by unloading, organizing, and moving materials to designated areas.
Follow written and verbal instructions carefully to complete daily tasks accurately and on time.
Work collaboratively with the lead and other team members to maintain smooth warehouse and production workflows.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company guidelines and safety standards.
Essential Skills
At least 3 months of experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
Proven ability to perform material handling tasks, including lifting and moving items weighing 40-50 pounds.
Experience using pallet jacks for transporting materials in a warehouse environment.
Ability to operate or learn to operate baler equipment safely and effectively.
Basic production and operator experience, including measuring and mechanically inclined tasks.
Capability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
Strong willingness to be a team player and collaborate with coworkers and leads.
Ability to follow instructions carefully, both written and verbal, and apply them consistently.
Reliability in maintaining punctual first-shift hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience as a material handler in a warehouse or production environment.
Comfort working around and supporting production machinery and equipment.
Mechanical inclination and interest in learning more about production processes.
Flexibility to assist in different areas of the warehouse and production floor as needed.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail in handling, measuring, and organizing materials.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
