Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead field operations on commercial Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) construction projects. This position plays a critical role in coordinating crews, driving project schedules, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring safe execution from installation through commissioning.

Compensation
Hourly Pay: $45.25 - $63.17 per hour

What You'll Accomplish
Lead daily field operations on commercial Solar PV and BESS construction projects
Coordinate activities between electrical, civil, structural, mechanical, and commissioning teams
Develop and manage project schedules, manpower plans, and construction sequences
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and utility representatives throughout project execution
Drive productivity goals while maintaining safety and quality standards
Lead daily site meetings, toolbox talks, and project planning discussions
Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve field issues
Support system testing, startup, commissioning, and turnover activities
Coordinate inspections with utilities, Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), and third-party agencies
What We're Looking For
A hands-on electrical construction leader with experience managing renewable energy projects, coordinating multiple trades, and driving successful field execution while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Required Qualifications
Experience in commercial electrical construction
Solar PV construction experience
Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project experience
Experience leading field crews in a Foreman, Superintendent, or similar leadership role
Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and best practices
OSHA 30 certification or equivalent understanding of OSHA regulations
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Knowledge of California Electrical Code requirements
Ability to read and interpret electrical and construction drawings
Experience coordinating multiple trades and stakeholders on active construction projects
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting commissioning, startup, and turnover activities
Experience conducting site inspections, safety audits, and corrective action reviews
Experience coordinating inspections with utilities, AHJs, and third-party agencies
Quality control experience within renewable energy construction environments
