The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services-DOT, is responsible for maintaining safe, clean, and efficient exterior facility operations. What you'll do:
Operate and maintain exterior facility equipment, including heavy machinery and powered tools, ensuring compliance with safety and certification standards.
Perform seasonal exterior maintenance such as snow and ice management, landscaping, trimming, mowing, and applying deicing materials to maintain safe conditions.
Conduct quality assurance inspections and troubleshoot equipment or facility issues to meet operational and safety requirements.
Manage vehicle maintenance, inspections, and documentation to ensure readiness and compliance.
Coordinate purchases, cost estimates, and warranty claims for parts and equipment.
Lead and support third-party providers and team members to promote professional growth and operational excellence.
What you'll bring:
Proven experience operating and maintaining heavy machinery and powered equipment in compliance with safety standards.
Valid DOT certification and knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
Strong skills in landscape maintenance, including trimming, mowing, and use of cutting equipment.
Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and ensure operational readiness.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with management, third-party providers, and facility users.
Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently and lead teams to meet quality and safety requirements.
Commitment to adhering to OSHA, EPA, and company policies and procedures.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...
Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.
21 years of age or older.
Valid state-issued driver's license.
No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three (3) years.
No more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years, if driving a commercial motor vehicle.
No serious traffic violations (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor
vehicle.
No preventable accidents (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor
vehicle.
Successful completion of a DOT physical and medical certification pre- hire.
As required by section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, ability to read and speak in the English language.
2 years' experience in the landscaping/gardening industry

Able to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification during pre-hire contingency and be able to maintain a minimum of a 90 day Medical Examiner's Certification (MEC) card, Associate's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related area., Experience in third-party management., Experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)., Proficient in speaking and understanding Spanish., State/local licensing where required (for example, Florida, Texas, California, etc).
