Description We are looking for a motivated Administrative Assistant to support a Managing Partner in California. This contract opportunity offers up to 20 hours per week with a morning schedule, making it well suited for an entry-level candidate who is eager to build hands-on office experience. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and comfortable balancing a variety of administrative tasks while using Microsoft Office tools and AI-based resources effectively.

Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Managing Partner, ensuring tasks and communications are handled efficiently.

Answer inbound calls, greet visitors, and serve as a courteous first point of contact for the office.

Prepare, update, and organize documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and reports using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AI tools.

Enter, maintain, and verify data accurately across office records and internal files.

Coordinate schedules, manage morning priorities, and help keep daily operations running smoothly.

Handle multiple assignments at once while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Support general front desk and receptionist functions, including message taking, correspondence, and office organization. Requirements - At least 1 year of administrative, office support, receptionist, or related experience.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Ability to use AI tools productively to assist with administrative and document-related tasks.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confidence handling inbound calls.

Excellent multitasking, organization, and time management skills.

High level of accuracy in data entry and document preparation.

Efficient, proactive approach with the ability to work independently in a part-time morning schedule. TalentMatch®
