What's a typical day as Accounting Assistant? You'll be:
Providing administrative and operational support to the Finance Department.
Assisting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing.
Supporting routine accounting functions, reconciliations, data entry, and financial reporting.
Assisting with General Ledger activities as assigned.
Maintaining accurate and confidential financial records.
Preparing and formatting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentation materials.
Compiling supporting schedules and documentation for management reporting.
Providing administrative support to Human Resources as needed.
Maintaining organized departmental records and documentation.
Assisting with Finance Department projects and process improvements.
Providing occasional operational support, including shipping or packaging products.
Learning company systems and processes and assisting across the organization as needed.
Performing other duties as assigned.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Bring 1-3+ years of accounting experience.
Possess strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
Can prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy.
Display a professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Are self-motivated, dependable, adaptable, and eager to learn.
