This is a rare opportunity to combine a national sales role with total account management, giving you direct influence over hotel performance and the ability to work closely with Operations, Marketing, and fellow Sales professionals.This position is available due to an internal promotion, reflecting Drury Hotels' strong commitment to developing and advancing talent from within.Approximately 70% of your time will be dedicated to client-facing salesactivities. There may be occasions when you need to travel outside of your home market, which should not exceed 10% of your overall working time.WHAT WILL YOU DOResponsible for revenue growth from assigned accounts, including corporate and non-corporate opportunities, while developing new business relationshipsManage local B2B partnerships and sponsorships with guidance from the Manager, Revenue Strategy & Market Sales, and collaboration with Regional ManagersMaintain expert knowledge of market area demand generators and accounts, ensuring comprehensive account managementLeverage customer interactions to uncover opportunities across all 150 hotels within the companyMarket Area: Drury Hotels throughout Mobile and Montgomery, Alabama, and Tallahassee, FloridaWHAT WE EXPECT OF YOUDemonstrates knowledge of sales techniques and exhibits the ability to advance customers through the sales cyclePossesses excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal, that are grammatically accuratePresents confidently to audiences of various sizes, with quality and relevant messagingCommunicates with internal stakeholders (Revenue Optimization, Operations Leaders, etc.) in a way that builds trust and drives revenue through collaborationExhibits effective time management through structure, self-discipline, and smart calendar planningConfident in utilizing multiple technologies, including CRM, Microsoft 365, and industry research platformsEducationRequires a high level of knowledge, skill, and intellectual development equivalent to the completion of a four-year college degreeA college degree related to sales, marketing, hospitality, or business is highly recommended and valuedExperienceRequires a minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in outside sales and account management, specifically with regional or national business-to-business accountsPrevious experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred, showcasing familiarity with the industryKnowledge of the Mobile and Montgomery markets is preferred, including experience developing relationships within the local business community and key demand generators.Rise.
