As an unarmed Security Officer at a government judicial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming, professional environment for visitors and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, attorneys, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Monitor entrances, public areas, and surrounding grounds for unusual activity; assist with directing visitors and communicating applicable facility rules and procedures.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events in accordance with site procedures.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of court facility public areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while working collaboratively with site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
