Job Title: Food Production Associate (Packing & Palletizing) / Warehouse Worker Job Description
This role is a hands-on position in a cold food production facility, focused on packing, palletizing, and organizing finished products at the end of the production line. You help ensure that food products are accurately picked, properly packaged, safely palletized, and prepared for timely delivery. The position involves a fast-paced, physically active 10-hour shift from 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM, with flexibility required for scheduling and overtime based on business needs.
Responsibilities
Pick finished products and customer orders accurately from the production line and inventory.
Down-stack products from production lines and organize them in designated storage areas.
Palletize products safely and efficiently to prepare them for shipment and delivery.
Pack food products into boxes, ensuring correct counts, labels, and packaging materials.
Inspect products and packaging to verify they meet established quality and food safety standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in accordance with company policies.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures at all times.
Use required personal protective equipment while working in a cold production environment.
Perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and moving product throughout a 10-hour shift.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet or exceed daily production and packing goals.
Communicate issues related to product quality, safety, or equipment to appropriate team members.
Support general labor tasks as needed to keep production flowing smoothly.
Essential Skills
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout a 10-hour shift.
Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move 30-35 pounds.
Comfort working in a cold environment for extended periods.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and packing throughout the shift.
Strong attendance and punctuality, with a reliable and dependable work ethic.
Ability to follow directions and adhere to safety, sanitation, and company policies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in production, warehouse, manufacturing, or food processing is preferred but not required.
Experience with packing, picking, general labor, and packaging tasks is an asset.
Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a high-volume environment.
Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail when handling food products.
Comfort using basic material handling processes related to palletizing and organizing inventory.
Proven ability to collaborate with coworkers to achieve shared goals.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.57 - $21.57/hr.
