Senior Accountant, Global Accounting

What You'll Do
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial analyses
Partner with Accounting, Tax, Finance, and Cost Accounting teams to support accurate and timely financial reporting
Prepare management reports and provide meaningful analysis of financial results, trends, and variances
Support consolidation and reporting processes across multiple entities and business units
Maintain and analyze transfer pricing data while assisting with intercompany accounting activities
Research and resolve accounting discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial records
Assist with capital project accounting and fixed asset reporting activities
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
Leverage Excel, ERP systems, and reporting tools to analyze large data sets and drive informed business decisions
Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls
Participate in special projects and initiatives that support the continued growth and evolution of the finance organization
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience within a large corporation or public accounting environment
Strong general ledger accounting experience, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial analysis
Experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting processes
Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large volumes of financial data
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP, JD Edwards (JDE), Cognos, or other large ERP systems
Exposure to consolidations, transfer pricing, fixed assets, or audit support
Experience using Power Query or other advanced data analysis tools
Background in a large public company or public accounting environment
CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA designation
Experience supporting process improvement or finance transformation initiatives

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
