We are the Workplace Engineering team. We create the enterprise environments within the ecosystem of ServiceNow. As a Workplace Engineering team, we build, configure, and manage applications and workflows that optimize physical and digital work environments
This position requires passing a ServiceNow background screening, USFedPASS (US Federal Personnel Authorization Screening Standards). Mentor team members and foster a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, and knowledge sharing.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance, scalability, and reliability across enterprise environments.
To be successful in this role you have:
Experience leveraging or critically evaluating how AI can be integrated into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This includes using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's impact on the business or industry.
8+ years of experience with Java or a similar object-oriented programming language.
Passion for JavaScript/TypeScript, the web platform, reusability, and component-based development.
Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance and scalability considerations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and software design skills.
Experience with modern UI frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or similar.
Strong understanding of relational databases, including development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python.
Familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.
For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $166,500 - $291,400 , plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
