A Front Desk Agent is responsible for creating a positive first impression by providing exceptional customer service to hotel guests. This role involves welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, answering questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable guest experience throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.

Check guests in and out efficiently using the hotel's property management system.

Verify reservations, assign rooms, and process payments.

Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries regarding reservations, hotel amenities, and local attractions.

Handle guest requests, complaints, and special accommodations promptly and professionally.

Maintain accurate guest records and update reservation information.

Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

Balance cash drawers and complete daily financial and administrative reports.

Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and security protocols.

Promote hotel services, amenities, and loyalty programs when appropriate.

Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.

Basic computer skills and experience with hotel reservation or property management systems.

Cash handling and basic accounting skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
