The Aerospace, Defense and Marine (Aerospace, Defense and Marine or AD&M) business unit of TE is part of the Industrial Solutions segment (Industrial Solutions) and is a world leader in the design of components and electrical interconnection solutions that are used for applications in extreme and rigorous environments. TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, and shipping/receiving functions. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.
Job Requirements
Directly Leads and oversees the activities of onsite Buyers and Shipping/Receiving/Inventory Supervisor.
Collaborates with several internal departments to understand recovery plans, inventory options, alternative part options, distribution stock and all other avenues to avoid supply chain disruption.
Leads daily tier/escalation meetings related to procurement, shipping/receiving and inventory to avoid production line and/or customer impact.
Properly escalates concerns to TE leadership to identify solutions
Tracks past due order recovery and identify areas where the plan is off track
Reviews and analyzes status of requisitions, exception reports etc. comparing customer demand vs. confirmed capacity vs. delivery and takes appropriate actions as needed.
Works to establish long-term recovery actions for all critical parts shortages
Identifies and leads continuous improvement projects to reduce cost and improve communication and efficiencies.
What your background should look like
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Fluent in English (written and oral). Spanish a plus.
CRITICAL EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years of experience in demand management, customer service, or material planning environment
Knowledge of TE Operations, Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Strong analytical skills and experience with SAP, MS Office (Excel, Power Point, and Word), and reporting tools

COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $89,000 - $130,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
