Job Title: Warehouse Driver / Apartment Setup Coordinator Job Description
The Warehouse Driver / Apartment Setup Coordinator plays a key role in preparing corporate apartments so they are fully furnished, stocked, clean, and move-in ready for incoming residents. This hands-on position combines warehouse staging, driving, delivery, and in-unit setup work. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently to meet tight timelines while following established standards and checklists.
Responsibilities
Transport housewares and light furniture from the warehouse to designated apartments using company vehicles.
Install and arrange housewares and light furniture in apartments according to established company standards.
Assist with complete apartment setups, including staging, stocking, and organizing items prior to guest move-in.
Perform apartment tear downs after move-out, carefully removing and returning housewares and furniture to the warehouse.
Conduct final inspections of apartments to verify cleanliness, proper setup, and completeness before resident arrival.
Carry out detailed housewares inventory checks and confirm all required items are present and functional.
Identify and resolve setup issues quickly, including missing items and minor maintenance-related needs, and escalate when necessary.
Follow and maintain key control procedures for inspected units to ensure proper access and security.
Stage materials and housewares within the warehouse in preparation for daily routes and apartment appointments.
Load vans accurately and safely for daily appointments based on checklists and inventory requirements.
Execute daily checklists to ensure all tasks, deliveries, and setups are completed according to standards.
Unload vans at the end of the day, returning unused items to designated warehouse locations and updating inventory as needed.
Purchase and manage local inventory as directed, ensuring required items are available for upcoming apartment setups.
Perform basic data entry related to inventory, deliveries, and apartment setup status.
Collaborate with team members and follow company procedures to maintain consistency and quality across all units.
Essential Skills
Ability to safely operate a vehicle for delivery driving and transportation of housewares and light furniture.
Experience with general labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading materials.
Skill in staging materials and organizing items within a warehouse environment.
Competence in loading and unloading vans efficiently and safely for daily appointments.
Basic inventory management skills, including conducting counts and tracking items.
Ability to follow and execute detailed checklists to ensure complete and accurate apartment setups.
Attention to detail when performing final inspections to verify cleanliness and completeness of units.
Basic data entry skills to record inventory, deliveries, and setup activities.
Capability to identify and address minor setup issues quickly and effectively.
Reliability and time management skills to meet tight timelines and daily schedules.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in delivery driving or similar roles involving transportation of goods.
Background in assembly or installation of furniture and housewares.
Comfort working in both warehouse and customer-facing apartment environments.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple appointments and inventory needs.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Herndon, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
