Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
This role involves assembling mechanical components and complete systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic assemblies, for products such as mobile water tanks, trailers, dump bodies, stationary structures, and other equipment. You will use hand and power tools, read and follow blueprints, and work in a production environment to build high-quality equipment used in construction and mining applications around the world.
Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical components, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems according to specifications and blueprints.
Build and assemble mobile water tanks, fuel tanks, coal haulers, bottom-dump trailers, dump bodies, stationary structures, and equipment transports.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.
Follow blueprints, drawings, and written instructions to ensure accurate and high-quality assembly.
Perform repetitive production work while maintaining consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Measure and align parts using tape measures and other measuring tools to ensure proper fit and function.
Follow safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance procedures at all times.
Stand, bend, and climb for extended periods while performing assembly tasks in a production setting.
Work both outdoors and indoors as needed, assembling equipment in varying weather conditions.
Follow verbal instructions and collaborate with team members to complete production goals and meet deadlines.
Essential Skills
At least 2+ years of experience working in a production environment.
Experience with mechanical assembly in a manufacturing or production setting.
Proficiency using hand tools and power tools for assembly work.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedures.
Capability to stand, bend, and climb for long periods of time while performing job duties.
Ability to follow repetitive work processes and maintain focus over extended periods.
Ability to follow verbal instructions accurately and consistently.
Basic numerical ability and learning ability to understand measurements and instructions.
Comfort working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience using tape measures and other measuring tools in assembly work.
Back ground in general labor or production roles involving mechanical assembly.
Familiarity with assembling large equipment or vehicles such as trailers, tanks, or heavy-duty structures.
Comfort working in an outdoor industrial environment as well as in an indoor shop.
Strong teamwork skills and willingness to collaborate in a close-knit production team.

Work Environment
The work environment includes both outdoor and indoor shop settings, and you will need to be comfortable working in varying weather conditions such as sun, clouds, heat, and cold. You will assemble water and fuel tanks, coal haulers, bottom-dump trailers, and equipment transports used in construction and mining applications. The role follows a day-shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The setting is a production and assembly environment where hand and power tools, measuring tools, and mechanical equipment are used regularly, and where safety rules and procedures are strictly followed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
