As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Columbus, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a professional, welcoming environment while responding to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $16.78 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, production areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.

Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.

Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
