As a Security Officer - Distribution Center in Van Buren Township, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Preferred experience with badge access control and X-ray screening will support your success. Wed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Thur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Fri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, access points, warehouse perimeters, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access to the location by observing personnel, visitors, and vehicle activity, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership.

Complete required incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
