As a Security Officer supporting a financial institution, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support access control operations. Pay Rate: $21.52 / Hour

Day Time

Sat08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Sun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.

Conduct regular and random patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.

Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, helping to maintain controlled access to restricted areas.

Prepare accurate reports and documentation for incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
