Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
This role focuses on handling packages within a busy warehouse environment, including loading and unloading trailers and delivery trucks, sorting packages to the correct destinations, and supporting a dedicated returns operation for a K-12 program ramp-up in E-Town. You will work as part of a diverse, collaborative, and energetic team that thrives in a fast-paced setting on either first or second shift.
Responsibilities
Load and unload packages from trailers and delivery trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
Sort packages accurately to ensure they reach the correct destination within the warehouse network.
Support the returns group by processing, organizing, and reworking returned items for the K-12 ramp-up operation.
Perform packing and packaging tasks, including preparing items for shipment and handling materials with care.
Pick and pull orders according to instructions and maintain accuracy in order picking activities.
Assist with general labor duties such as staging, organizing, and moving materials as needed.
Handle inventory tasks, including counting, tracking, and maintaining stock in designated areas.
Support shipping and receiving operations by loading, unloading, and verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts if trained and authorized, to move products and materials safely.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and timelines.
Adapt to changing priorities and support various warehouse functions as operational needs arise.
Essential Skills
Experience working in a warehouse environment performing tasks such as loading, unloading, and general labor.
Ability to lift, carry, and move packages and materials as part of daily warehouse operations.
Proficiency in packing, packaging, and handling materials safely and efficiently.
Experience with order picking and inventory handling in a fast-paced setting.
Capability to support returns and rework processes, including handling returned products accurately.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures within a warehouse.
Ability to operate or learn to operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, in a safe manner.
Comfort working in a production-oriented environment with time-sensitive tasks.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate sorting, picking, and handling of packages.
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative and energetic team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience as a warehouse worker, package handler, or in a similar logistics or distribution role.
Experience working in returns or rework areas within a warehouse operation.
Exposure to GTW or similar warehouse production and workflow processes.
Familiarity with basic inventory control and material handling practices.
Willingness to work on first or second shift based on operational needs.
Flexibility to perform a variety of warehouse tasks and support different areas as required.

Work Environment
The position is based in a warehouse environment in the returns section in E-Town. Fans provide airflow, but temperatures will be hot during the summer and cooler in the winter months, so you should be comfortable working in varying climate conditions. The role follows standard warehouse safety practices and requires appropriate work attire suitable for physical tasks in an active industrial setting

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
