Job Title: Brazer (Fully Trainable Position No Experience Needed!)
Job Description
This role focuses on assembling and brazing coil components to precise specifications, using hand and power tools, welding equipment, and brazing torches. You will work with fins, casings, hairpins, and other coil parts, ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient production in a clean, climate-controlled environment.
Responsibilities
Gather component parts for each build, including fins, casings, and hairpins.
Retrieve coils from the work-in-progress lane and place them on the table using an overhead lift according to certified level requirements.
Push tables and move coils to the brazing area safely and efficiently.
Assemble return bends, headers, and distributors on coils following drawings and work orders.
Braze components to coils using specified standards and information provided on technical drawings.
Operate a brazing torch to braze materials accurately and consistently.
Use fabrication tools, including hand and power tools, welding equipment, and grinders, to support assembly and brazing work.
Collaborate with coworkers to maintain high standards of safety, quality, production, and on-time delivery.
Push or pull larger items such as pallets and coils on carts as needed.
Identify and tag unsafe equipment to ensure a safe work environment.
Take on additional duties or assist in other departments as operational needs change.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
Essential Skills
Experience or strong interest in brazing, including brazing components together for coils using technical specifications and drawings.
Fabrication work, including use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and grinders.
Ability to read and follow drawings, work orders, and technical specifications accurately.
Steady hands and fine motor skills to perform precise, high-quality brazes.
Capability to safely operate an overhead lift and move materials such as pallets and coils on carts.
Commitment to safety practices, including identifying and tagging unsafe equipment.
Willingness to collaborate with team members on safety, quality, production, and delivery objectives.
Flexibility to take on other duties or support different departments as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Willingness to learn brazing techniques; training is available for candidates without prior brazing experience.
Experience in welding and assembly work in a production or fabrication environment.
Comfort working with welding equipment and in proximity to a welding shop.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean, organized work area to 5S standards.

Work Environment
The role is based in a very clean, climate-controlled facility. Work flows from a welding shop at the back of the building to the front, where products are prepared for shipment. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
