JOB REQUIREMENTS: Production Quality Leadership Perform all duties of
Quality Technician. Serve as the primary Quality representative during
assigned shifts, providing independent quality decision-making support
to production, evaluating quality and operational risks, and
coordinating the communication of significant quality concerns and
observed safety risks to Quality Management, Engineering, and Operations
as required. Support incoming, in-process, and final inspection
activities as required to maintain production flow and customer
commitments. Assess significant quality concerns, communicate findings,
and provide recommendations based on supporting data and risk
evaluation. Technical Quality Support Maintain and update basic
inspection instructions, visual standards, and quality documentation.
Perform basic Keyence programming, program modifications, and
measurement setup activities. Interpret engineering drawings,
specifications, and basic GD&T requirements Conduct layered process
audits, process verification activities, and compliance assessments.
Verify measuring equipment calibration status and support
calibration-related activities as required. Provide technical guidance
to Quality Technicians and production personnel regarding inspection
methods, acceptance criteria, and quality concerns. Perform other duties
as assigned Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement Lead basic root
cause investigations utilizing 5 Why, Fishbone, and other established
problem-solving methodologies. Support corrective action investigations,
implementation activities, and effectiveness verification. Assist with
customer complaint investigations, supplier quality investigations,
containment activities, and quality-related issue resolution. Analyze
quality data and identify opportunities for corrective action, defect
reduction, and escalation to Quality Engineering or Quality Management
Production & Operational Support Mentor, train, and develop Quality
Technicians Promote a proactive quality culture throughout the
organization Provide support for Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering,
and Quality Management activities as assigned. Serve as a
cross-functional partner in support of customer, supplier, production,
and quality objectives. Perform other duties as assigned Required

Write test or inspection reports describing results, recommendations, or
needed repairs. Recommend necessary corrective actions, based on
inspection results. Read dials or meters to verify that equipment is
functioning at specified levels. Make minor adjustments to equipment,
such as turning setscrews to calibrate instruments to required
tolerances. Read blueprints, data, manuals, or other materials to
determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment
methods, certification processes, formulas, or measuring instruments
required. Monitor production operations or equipment to ensure
conformance to specifications, making necessary process or assembly
adjustments. Record inspection or test data, such as weights,
temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected or
graded. Position products, components, or parts for testing. Collect or
select samples for testing or for use as models. Stack or arrange tested
products for further processing, shipping, or packaging. Analyze test
data, making computations as necessary, to determine test results.
Compare colors, shapes, textures, or grades of products or materials
with color charts, templates, or samples to verify conformance to
standards. Clean, maintain, calibrate, or repair measuring instruments
or test equipment, such as dial indicators, fixed gauges, or height
gauges. Fabricate, install, position, or connect components, parts,
finished products, or instruments for testing or operational purposes.
Grade, classify, or sort products according to sizes, weights, colors,
or other specifications. Disassemble defective parts or components, such
as inaccurate or worn gauges or measuring instruments. Compute defect
percentages or averages, using formulas and calculators. Weigh
materials, products, containers, or samples to verify packaging weights
or ingredient quantities. ** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Minimum 2
years of quality experience in ISO Certified manufacturing environment.
Minimum 2 years of plastics injection molding experience. Experience
using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers,
height gauges, optical comparators, and other inspection tools.
Experience with ERP systems preferred. Preferred Qualifications ASQ
Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA), Certified Quality
Technician (CQT), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or equivalent
certification preferred. Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred.
Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and root cause analysis
methodologies preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and project coordination skills. Proficiency with
Microsoft Office and quality-related software applications. Ability to
work independently while managing multiple priorities. **
