Manufacturing Engineering Technician

What You'll Do
As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you'll partner closely with Manufacturing Engineers, Quality teams, and Production personnel to improve processes, resolve technical issues, and support manufacturing excellence.
Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, tooling, and process-related issues to minimize downtime and support production goals.
Conduct time studies and analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste and increase productivity.
Perform preventative maintenance activities and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
Design, build, and modify fixtures, tooling, and test equipment to support manufacturing operations.
Assist Manufacturing Engineers with projects, process improvements, and engineering initiatives.
Perform testing, data collection, and process validation activities.
Update and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process records.
Support equipment qualification activities and troubleshooting efforts across production areas.
Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action efforts.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing, engineering technician, maintenance, or process-support environments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment, such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, electronics, or other FDA/ISO-regulated industries.
Knowledge of electronic systems, test equipment, and basic diagnostic techniques.
Experience working with pneumatic systems and equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work hands-on with equipment and tooling.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and teams.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and manufacturing documentation.
Experience developing and executing test plans.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience supporting process validations, equipment qualifications, or manufacturing improvement projects.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $58000.00/yr.
