We are a residential design-build team based in Easton, CT, serving high-end residential projects throughout Fairfield County and the surrounding areas. Our work combines thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and a collaborative approach to delivering exceptional homes and renovation projects.
We are seeking an Entry-Level CAD Drafter with experience in CAD drafting and 3D modeling/rendering to support the full design-build process. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced architects, designers, and project managers to transform concepts and sketches into detailed construction documents and visual presentations.

What You'll Do
Create detailed 2D CAD drawings, including site plans, floor plans, elevations, and construction documents
Develop 3D models and renderings to support project planning and client presentations
Translate design concepts, sketches, and specifications into accurate technical drawings
Collaborate with architects, designers, project managers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met
Revise drawings based on field conditions, client feedback, and design updates
Maintain organized project documentation and drawing records
Ensure drawings comply with applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards
Assist with material take-offs, bills of materials (BOMs), and dimensional verification
Participate in project coordination meetings and help resolve design and construction conflicts
Manage multiple priorities while meeting project deadlines and quality standards
What You'll Bring
Associate's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Proficiency with CAD software and 3D modeling/rendering programs such as SketchUp, Revit, Chief Architect, and/or Archicad
Ability to create clear, accurate, and highly detailed technical drawings
Understanding of drafting standards, construction documents, and industry best practices
Residential design or interior design experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Eagerness to learn and grow within the design and construction industry
Compensation & Benefits
$24-$28 per hour, based on experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Easton, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.49 - $72.16/hr.
