We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance, including seniors and those with developmental disabilities. This role requires a nurturing personality, strong communication skills, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Duties

As a Caregiver, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Preparing nutritious meals and ensuring dietary needs are met.

Administering medications as prescribed and monitoring client health.

Providing memory care and engaging clients in activities that promote cognitive function.

Observing and documenting changes in client behavior or health status while adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Supporting clients with developmental disabilities by fostering independence and enhancing their daily living skills.

Offering companionship and emotional support to clients, ensuring they feel valued and respected.

Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred, but not required.

Familiarity with medication administration and patient observation techniques, preferred but not required.

Knowledge of senior care practices, including memory care strategies preferred, but not required.

Certification in CPR is highly desirable or we will pay for the CPR class.

A genuine passion for helping others and a strong understanding of the unique needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.
