Job Title: Administrator

Job Description

The Warehouse Administrator supports daily operations by performing accurate data entry, maintaining inventory records, and providing administrative support in a fast-paced construction environment. The main focus is in time keeping and time card collection, data entry, and auditing.

Responsibilities

Enter and update data accurately in internal systems, including inventory counts, shipment details, and order information.

Maintain up-to-date inventory records to support efficient stock control and timely order fulfillment.

Provide administrative support to warehouse operations, including preparing documents, reports, and basic correspondence.

Use Microsoft Office, with a strong focus on Excel, to create and maintain spreadsheets, logs, and reports related to inventory and warehouse activities.

Assist with customer service by responding to inquiries, providing order status updates, and helping resolve basic issues related to warehouse operations.

Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure data accuracy, timely documentation, and smooth coordination of incoming and outgoing goods.

Follow established procedures and guidelines to maintain organized records and support compliance with internal standards.

Essential Skills

Proficient data entry skills with strong attention to accuracy and detail.

Experience working with inventory records or stock control in a warehouse or similar environment.

Administrative support experience in an operational or logistics setting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong skills in Excel for creating and managing spreadsheets.

Customer service skills, including clear communication and a helpful, professional manner.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment while managing multiple tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience using Excel functions to organize and analyze data.

Familiarity with warehouse processes and basic logistics terminology.

Ability to learn new systems and tools used for inventory and data management.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain orderly records and documentation.

Work Environment

This role is based in a construction environment in Dalton, GA. Candidate is working closely with the site supervisor, operational and logistics teams. You will spend most of your time in an office using computers and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, to manage data and inventory records. The setting is fast-paced and operational, with regular interaction with warehouse staff and exposure to day-to-day activities

This is a Contract position based out of Dalton, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
