?? Schedule: 32 Hours per Week (Monday-Thursday)

? Position Type: Full-Time School-Based Contract

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to provide school-based services to elementary-aged students in Pueblo, Colorado . The Physical Therapist will be responsible for conducting student evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy services that support student mobility, participation, and educational success.

This role primarily follows a Monday-Thursday schedule from 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM , with occasional Friday hours as needed for Child Find services.

Key Responsibilities

?? Conduct physical therapy evaluations and assessments for students.

?? Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.

?? Provide direct therapy services in accordance with established plans of care.

?? Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, parents, and other professionals.

?? Participate in meetings and provide recommendations to support student success.

?? Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records.

?? Adhere to all professional, federal, state, and local standards and regulations.

Qualifications

Required

?? Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of practice

?? Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

?? Ability to meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

?? Strong communication and collaboration skills

?? Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred

? One (1) year of professional Physical Therapy experience

? Current CPR certification (if applicable)

? Current health certificate and TB clearance as required

Minimum Requirements:

Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice

Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy

One (1) year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred

Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

Current CPR if applicable

TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
