Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), AI/ML, and advanced analytics to support the development of a next-generation insights platform. This role will focus on building and enhancing AI-driven models that analyze large-scale telematics and operational data, generating actionable insights for business stakeholders through intelligent dashboards and reporting solutions.
The ideal candidate is a true data scientist who can go beyond reporting metrics to uncover hidden insights, identify business opportunities, and translate complex analytical findings into meaningful recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize NLP and machine learning models that support intelligent dashboarding and insight generation.
Build AI-driven solutions that continuously surface new trends, patterns, and recommendations from incoming data.
Analyze large-scale telematics and operational datasets to identify hidden insights and business opportunities.
Partner with data engineers, software engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable analytical solutions.
Translate analytical outputs into compelling narratives and actionable business recommendations.
Develop models that help explain changes in product adoption, customer engagement, feature utilization, and overall business performance.
Leverage AI/ML techniques to automate insight generation and reduce reliance on manual dashboard analysis.
Ensure secure handling of sensitive and regulated data while maintaining compliance with data governance standards.
Facilitate data literacy initiatives and help stakeholders better understand and act upon analytical findings.
Contribute to the evolution of the organization's data and AI ecosystem across cloud-based platforms.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong experience as a Data Scientist, Sr. Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar role.
Deep expertise in:
Natural Language Processing (NLP)
Large Language Models (LLMs)
AI/ML model development
Predictive analytics and statistical modeling
Proven ability to uncover hidden insights and transform data into strategic business recommendations.
Strong storytelling and presentation skills with experience communicating results to executive stakeholders.
Experience working with large-scale data environments and big data processing.
Hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift and modern cloud data platforms.
Experience managing sensitive data and implementing secure AI/ML solutions.
Automotive telematics industry experience is required.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS cloud services.
Experience with Databricks and Snowflake.
Familiarity with Amazon Q and other generative AI platforms.
Prior experience within the automotive ecosystem.
Experience developing AI-powered business intelligence and dashboard solutions using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
