Summary You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst of CNSSC MECHANICSBURG NWCF MHA. Responsibilities You will implement internal controls and provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations. You will evaluate and identify accounting system deficiencies, policy issues to take or recommend corrective action. You will analyze and interpret financial data from multiple financial systems to identify issues and determine trends. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent demonstrating knowledge and skill applying principles, concepts and practices to perform assignments concerning financial management and budget. Specific work experience must demonstrate duties such as the following: (1) Monitor budget execution to ensure compliance with the DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR) and present performance metrics to senior leadership; (2) Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer requirements align with program budget plans; (3) Utilize the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) or related automated financial system to extract, interpret, and analyze financial reports and statistical data; (4) Possess skills in identifying, analyzing and resolving a range of budgetary problems such as development of alternative methods of funding; (5) Monitoring program budge execution to ensure availability/sufficiency of funds; (6) Develop timely and effective communication of identified issues and recommended resolutions, that balance the interests of the mission and multiple stakeholders, to subordinate and senior levels.
