How you'll make an impact in this role

Coordinate complex surgical procedures to ensure seamless operating room workflow and maximize surgical throughput.

Manage surgeon preference cards with high attention to detail to enhance team readiness and reduce operational downtime.

Maintain precise clinical scheduling records within EHR and scheduling systems to optimize hospital resource utilization and patient safety.

Facilitate effective communication across interdisciplinary teams-including surgeons, anesthesia, and nursing leadership-to drive safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

Anticipate shifts in operational demands to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Education:

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What additional preferences we're seeking

A Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

Prior hospital operating room experience.

Direct experience in surgical case scheduling.
