Accounts Payable Admin - Temp to Hire

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable specialist to support daily financial and administrative operations in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who is comfortable managing invoice workflows, resolving vendor questions, and handling a variety of clerical tasks in a fast-paced office setting. The role offers a steady weekday schedule and the chance to contribute across both accounting and general office support functions.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining organized payment records.

Review vendor statements, research discrepancies, and respond to invoice-related questions to help keep accounts current.

Enter financial and operational data into spreadsheets and internal accounting or inventory software systems.

Assist with invoice coding and support routine check run activities as needed.

Scan, save, and organize business documents to maintain accessible electronic records.

Manage both digital and paper filing to ensure documentation is complete and easy to retrieve.

Sort incoming mail, distribute materials appropriately, and handle document scanning for office processing.

Provide general administrative support and take on additional clerical duties as business needs arise. Requirements - Experience supporting accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and related recordkeeping.

Ability to code invoices with accuracy and follow established payment procedures.

Familiarity with vendor statement review and resolving invoice discrepancies.

Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Adobe for daily administrative and accounting tasks.

Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining organized files and documentation.

Availability to work a part-time schedule of approximately 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
