Join our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama , as a Senior Manufacturing Manager and be at the forefront of cutting-edge defense manufacturing. The selected candidate will manage first line leaders that oversee manufacturing, repair/rework, functional/environmental test, and sustainment activities with a focus on improving Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation and People.

Position Responsibilities:

Manage employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines

Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies

Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

Manages, develops and motivates employees

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final post-start U.S. Secret clearance is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience working as a leader or manager

3+ years of experience driving improvements across safety, quality, delivery, cost, innovation, and people on production and development programs

3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)

3+ years of experience leading cross-functional and Lean+ projects

3+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a production/manufacturing environment

Ability to work any shift, as needed, as business conditions change

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree or higher

Active Security clearance preferred

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: USD $141,950 - $192,050
