Position Details

Location: Yonkers, NY

Pay Rate: $17.53 per hour

Position Type: Part-Time and Full-Time Opportunities Available

Post Type: Standing Security Post

What You'll Do

As a Retail Security Officer, you will play an important role in helping maintain a safe and welcoming shopping environment for customers and staff by:

Maintaining a visible security presence throughout your assigned area

Monitoring customer and employee activity to help prevent theft and policy violations

Observing and reporting suspicious behavior or security concerns

Providing exceptional customer service and assisting visitors when needed

Responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies

Completing accurate activity and incident reports

Supporting store management by enforcing site policies and procedures

Helping create a safe and positive environment for customers and employees

Qualifications

Valid NYS Security Guard License preferred

Previous security, retail, customer service, or related experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Professional appearance and demeanor

Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the shift

Ability to stand for extended periods

Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Strong observation and reporting skills
