Job Title: General Labor - Precast Concrete Job Description
This role focuses on loading, unloading, and handling precast concrete materials in an outdoor environment. You support daily production by safely moving materials, maintaining a clean work area, and assisting with basic construction tasks. The position requires consistent heavy lifting, working under the sun in varying weather conditions, and following safety procedures to ensure efficient operations.
Responsibilities
Load and unload precast concrete materials and related products, including items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Handle, move, and position precast concrete components safely in an outdoor yard or construction setting.
Assist with general labor tasks related to precast concrete production and construction activities.
Operate basic tools and equipment as directed to support material handling and preparation.
Work outdoors under the sun and in various weather conditions while maintaining productivity and safety.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to support efficient operations.
Collaborate with team members and follow instructions from supervisors to complete daily tasks on time.
Adapt to changing work priorities and tasks as needed to support production and yard operations.
Report any unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or incidents promptly to the appropriate personnel.
Essential Skills
Ability to perform general labor tasks in an outdoor construction or industrial environment.
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
Comfort working outdoors under the sun and in varying weather conditions.
Experience or familiarity with concrete, construction, or similar physically demanding work.
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures consistently.
Strong work ethic with reliability in attendance and punctuality.
Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish or in both Spanish and another language (bilingual).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in general labor, construction, or concrete work is beneficial.
Experience working in a precast concrete or industrial yard environment is an advantage.
Willingness to learn how to handle materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
Flexibility to work additional hours, including some or most Saturdays, as needed.
Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting.

Work Environment
This is a full-time, first-shift position with typical hours from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with the expectation of working some or most Saturdays as needed. Work takes place entirely outdoors in a precast concrete yard or similar industrial setting, under direct sun and in various weather conditions. The role involves frequent heavy lifting, standing, bending, and walking throughout the shift. You work around concrete materials, construction tools, and material-handling equipment, following safety guidelines and using appropriate personal protective equipment as required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
